Steps

1. 1Apply translucent nude base coat

   

   Apply a translucent nude base coat evenly onto the prepped nail plate using the brush. Ensure smooth coverage from the cuticle area down to the free edge to create a uniform foundation for the subsequent nail art layers. Cure under the lamp according to standard guidelines.

   Tip: Apply in thin, even strokes to prevent pooling around the cuticles.
2. 2Wipe inhibition layer

   

   After curing the nude base coat under the lamp, take an alcohol wipe and thoroughly clean the nail surface. This removes the sticky inhibition layer, leaving a clean, smooth surface ready for the next step of the blush effect.

   Tip: Make sure the surface is completely dry and free of residue before moving on to powder or sponge application.
3. 3Create nude pink blush effect

   

   Take a sponge applicator with pink powder or gel and gently dab it directly onto the center of the nail plate. This builds up a soft, diffused color concentration that mimics a classic Korean-style blush nail effect.

   Tip: Dab lightly and build color gradually to keep the edges soft and blended.
4. 4Encapsulate blush effect with base gel

   

   Apply a protective layer of clear base gel directly over the entire nail plate using a brush. This step encapsulates and locks in the pink blush effect, smoothing out any texture from the sponge application before adding cat-eye gel.

5. 5Apply cat-eye gel to upper half

   Tip: Keep the application clean near the boundary line to make blending easier.
6. 6Blend cat-eye gel for ombre gradient

   

   Using a clean brush, gently sweep and blend the edge of the cat-eye gel downward. This diffuses the product to create a smooth, seamless vertical gradient transition into the nude base below.

   Tip: Wipe your brush clean between strokes to achieve a clean ombre fade.
7. 7Concentrate the magnetic particles

   

   Hover a magnetic wand back and forth near the nail tip. This action draws and concentrates the cat-eye magnetic particles towards the apex and tip of the nail, making the reflective shift super bright.

   Tip: Keep the magnet close to the nail surface without touching the wet gel to achieve the most intense shift in the magnetic particles.
8. 8Shape the cat-eye French arch

   

   Use a specialized horseshoe-shaped or scissors magnet tool around the edges of the nail tip. The shape of the magnet will precisely sharpen and form the particles into a standard cat-eye French arch effect. Once shaped perfectly, quickly cure the nail under your LED or UV lamp.

   Tip: Magnetic particles will slowly disperse once you move the magnet away, so flash cure immediately to lock in the sharp line.
9. 9Draw the silver French line

   

   Using a fine liner brush, apply a silver glitter liner gel along the smile line of your shaped cat-eye French tip. Trace the arch carefully to cleanly separate the pink gradient base from the blue magnetic tip. Cure under the lamp once the line is complete.

   Tip: Rest your painting hand on a stable surface and use a very light touch with the tip of the liner brush for the thinnest, crispest line.
